2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

To populate web forms, job applications, and questionnaires across various websites on your behalf.
To store and manage your form-filling profiles locally on your device.
To authenticate your identity if you use our cloud-sync or premium features.
To improve the accuracy of our field-matching algorithms.

3. Data Storage and Processing

Local Storage: By default, all your personal profile data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure `chrome.storage.local` API. We do not automatically upload your personal form data to our servers unless you explicitly opt-in to a cloud synchronization feature.

Authentication: Authentication requests are securely transmitted to our backend servers (`parallelquintillioncoders.com`) over HTTPS.

4. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Extension requires specific permissions to function. We only request the minimum permissions necessary:

`activeTab` & `scripting`: Allows the Extension to execute scripts on the currently active tab when you click the Extension icon or use a keyboard shortcut. This is required to scan the page for form fields and inject your data.
`storage`: Allows the Extension to save your profiles and settings locally on your computer.
`identity`: Required to handle secure OAuth login flows.
Host Permissions (`<all_urls>`): Required because the Extension needs to function on any website where you might encounter a form (e.g., job boards, e-commerce sites).

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties for their promotional purposes. We may disclose your information only in the following situations:

To comply with legal obligations: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.
To protect rights and safety: To protect and defend our rights or property, or the safety of our users.

6. Third-Party Websites

The Extension operates on third-party websites. When you use the Extension to fill out a form on a third-party site, you are submitting your data directly to that site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms of service, or security of any third-party websites. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information.
